Sami Ruotsalainen
Sami Ruotsalainen is a Helsinki-based ceramics and glassware designer with an MA from the University of Art and Design Helsinki. Sami is the designer behind Marimekko's Oiva (superb) tableware.
Sami's design approach combines millimeter-exact precision with a delicate understanding of materials and form. He is passionate about cooking, which inspires him a lot in his design work. He has worked for Marimekko since 2001.
