Ingegerd Råman

Ingegerd Råman (b. 1943) strongly believes that design and functionality go hand in hand. Her motto is: The object one designs must deliver its promise. All of her designs are well balanced and of high quality. She constantly applies new techniques and experiments with new shapes. Ingegerd Råman is one of Sweden's most renowned glass-designers. Over the years, Ingegerd Råman has received numerous awards for her work, and in 1995 she was awarded a Swedish government professor's title. Her collections for Orrefors are all characterised by the purity of line and functionality.
