Taika Dinnerware - Klaus Haapaniemi - Design Year 2007
The whimsical Taika series was illustrated and created by Klaus Haapaniemi for Iittala in 2007. Created in white, blue, black and red and now the new Siimes, the design was inspired by and draws upon folklore for a fanciful design that is visually stunning. Taika means magic in Finnish and the classic Aika forms designed by Heikki Orvola make the base for the Taika Collection, bringing a playful magic to your kitchen and table.
